We are hosting a live information session with WomenLift Health East Africa and India Leadership Journey Fellows to discuss how participating in the yearlong programme has informed their personal and professional journeys. The session will provide insights on how the Journey enabled them to find their authentic leadership voice and navigate the barriers faced by mid-to-senior career women in health in East Africa and India.
WomenLift Health’s Leadership Journeys are designed to equip mid-to-senior career women working in health with the tools and strategies to amplify their voice, strengthen their leadership presence, and expand their influence—while being supported by a powerful network of peers, mentors, and coaches.
With 660 women leaders reached across regional hubs in East Africa, India, North America, South Africa, and Nigeria, WomenLift Health is now inviting applications for the 2026 Leadership Journeys, seeking to identify outstanding women leaders from East Africa and India.
Through this live information session, WomenLift Health Global Fellows from East Africa and India will share how the Journey has helped them embrace their authentic leadership voice and navigate the barriers that often arise for women at the mid-career stage in public health. This is an opportunity for prospective applicants to gain insights into the 2026 WomenLift Health East Africa and India Leadership Journeys, respectively, engage with Fellows, and explore how this fully funded, twelve-month leadership development experience, designed for mid-to-senior career women in health, can support their leadership growth.
