Rose is a finance professional with a proven track record of over 15 years in financial management, grants management, corporate reporting and strategic investment planning. With extensive experience in group finance, risk management, internal and external audit co-ordination across both for profit and not-for-profit industries, she posses a deep understanding of financial, operational and governance matters within organisations. Her core values are integrity, authenticity and excellence.
She began her career at Ernst & Young Nairobi where she worked in the audit and advisory department serving clients across various industries such as non-profit organizations, banks, hotels, construction, among others. She then joined TransCentury PLC, an investment company listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange with investments across 8 African countries primarily in the infrastructure space, as the Group internal auditor a role she executed for 3 years before transitioning to the finance department as the Group financial reporting and analysis manager and later as the finance manager at TransCentury.
She joins WomenLift to lead and strengthen the financial operations across multiple regions. Prior to this role she was the finance and operations manager at Axum Earth, a Global strategy consulting firm where she led various internal initiatives including an ERP implementation.
In her spare time she enjoys long walks and has recently picked up hiking.
Rose holds an EMBA from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting Option) from Kenyatta University. She is also a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA-K).
