Raquel Daniel (Executive Director, Beyond the Classroom Foundation) is a social entrepreneur, storyteller, and advocate working at the intersection of adolescent girls’ health, safety, and education. She is the founder of Beyond the Classroom Foundation, where she leads initiatives addressing gender-based violence, sexual and reproductive health, and barriers preventing girls from staying in school in underserved and conflict-affected communities. Raquel is also the founder of AgoraNova Media, a storytelling platform that amplifies development and social impact stories across Africa. She hosts The Amplify Radio Show, where she explores issues affecting the girl-child and highlights the voices of leaders and advocates driving change in girls’ health, safety, and education. With over a decade of experience designing girl-centered programs, she works with schools, families, and communities to strengthen systems that support girls’ health, safety, and leadership. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Lagos. Fun fact: I enjoy watching movies with a notebook nearby, jotting down quotes I like and scenes that I find exceptional.
