Olawumi Olarewaju (Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist, NTBLCP) is a global health leader and health systems strengthening specialist with over a decade of experience advancing large-scale public health programmes across government and non-governmental sectors in Nigeria. She provides strategic leadership on integrated service delivery, primary health care transformation, and performance-driven monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning within complex donor-funded environments. Her expertise spans tuberculosis control, community and reproductive health programming, health workforce capacity development, and translating data into policy and systems reforms that expand equitable access to quality health services. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Anatomy from Olabisi Onabanjo University and a Master of Public Health from the University of Roehampton, United Kingdom, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Public Health. A published researcher and member of the West African Institute of Public Health, she is passionate about resilient systems, sustainable financing, and strengthening women’s leadership in global health governance. Fun fact: She is an ex-Junior Airwoman (EX-JAW) and alumna of the Nigerian Air Force Girls’ Military School.
