Olasunmbo Makinde (Program Lead, Health Strategy and Delivery Foundation) is a seasoned public health physician with over 13 years of experience in health systems strengthening, primary healthcare, program management, reproductive, maternal, newborn and child health (RMNCH), and quality improvement across Nigeria, Liberia, Malawi, and Rwanda. She has worked closely with governments, donors, and implementing partners to address systemic health challenges and translate policy into practice. She currently serves as Program Lead at Health Strategy and Delivery Foundation, where she leads Project Aisha, a maternal health initiative focused on reducing maternal mortality and strengthening women-centred health systems. Outside of work, Sunmbo enjoys travelling and watching good TV series.
