Oiza Ahmadu (Chief Consultant Oncology, Federal Medical Center Abuja) is a Clinical Oncologist and Nuclear Medicine Physician, Medical Educator, and Clinical Researcher at the Federal Medical Centre, Abuja. She completed her MBBS and residency training in Radiation and Clinical Oncology (FWACS) and Nuclear Medicine (MMED, FCNP) and holds a Master’s in Public Health. A fellow of African Leadership Training for Oncology Research, she leads the Department of Oncology and chairs the Multidisciplinary Cancer Committee at FMC Abuja. Her clinical and research interests focus on Breast and Gynecological cancers, spanning advocacy, prevention, screening, treatment, supportive care, and implementation science. She is passionate about helping younger women with cancer navigate a seamless journey through treatment, ensuring coordinated care and psychosocial support. She is the recipient of multiple awards, most recently the Capital Health Award for Excellence in Oncology and Nuclear Medicine.
