Miranda Atare (Director, Program and Advocacy, Lafiya Nigeria) is a pharmacist, public health logistician, and global health leader committed to expanding equitable access to reproductive health services. She serves as Director of Programmes and Advocacy at Lafiya Nigeria, where she leads strategy, government engagement, and program implementation to strengthen community-based family planning services through the Lafiya Sisters model. With over a decade of experience working across Nigeria’s health system, Miranda collaborates with federal and state governments, development partners, and implementing organisations to improve supply chains, strengthen last-mile service delivery, and advance sustainable financing for family planning. She holds a Master of Public Health and is passionate about building resilient health systems and supporting the next generation of women leaders in global health. Fun fact: Outside work, Miranda enjoys creative writing and crocheting handmade dolls and crafts.
