Kristin Saucier

Kristin Saucier has over 15 years of experience mobilizing resources and building strategic partnerships to advance RMNCAH. As Senior Director of Business Development at EngenderHealth, she established and oversees the organization’s global business development strategy and leads the team responsible for securing funding for transformative, rights-based programs. Previously, she spent nearly a decade at Population Services International, where she led the development of successful proposals, fostered global and local partnerships, and collaborated closely with country teams to design programs aligned with local priorities. She also served as an international fellow in Nicaragua, where she launched a maternal health initiative and led the country office’s business development efforts. Over her career, she has secured multiple flagship grants and contracts of up to $90 million from a diverse range of donors, including USAID, CDC, FCDO, SIDA, MINBUZA, GAC, CIFF, Gates Foundation, Packard and Hewlett Foundations, LAD, UNFPA, and WHO. She is a passionate advocate for equitable partnerships and locally led development and has supported local organizations to secure their first direct bilateral funding. She holds an MPH and an MA in International Development Studies from George Washington University and a BA from Colby College.
