Euloge Ishimwe Director of Communications and Engagement. He brings two decades of experience in strategic communications, with a focus on global health, humanitarian response, and international development. He most recently served as Global Director of Communications at Living Goods, where he led a full digital transformation, including a complete website overhaul. He tripled the size of his team and launched of a brand ambassador program to strengthen the organization’s visibility and value proposition. Prior to that, Euloge served as Head of Communications for Africa at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), supporting 49 countries. During the 2019 Cyclone Idai crisis, he led IFRC’s media response in Africa, generating over 9,000 media mentions in a single week, the highest in IFRC history, helping mobilize global support and funding. At SOS Children’s Villages, he led communications across Africa and the Middle East and later in a global role, overseeing strategic transitions and building a continental communications structure that improved donor engagement and visibility. Euloge has published op-eds in leading media outlets including Al Jazeera, Devex, Jeune Afrique, Le Monde, and Thomson Reuters, advocating for African perspectives on issues such as climate justice and health equity. He has managed large communications budgets and worked with partners such as GAVI, USAID, the Skoll Foundation, ECHO, AfDB, and the Mastercard Foundation, supporting donor funded projects and change management efforts. He holds a master’s in international relations, a bachelor’s degree in communications and Sociology, and a diploma in Electronic Journalism.

Euloge is fluent in English, French, Kiswahili, and Kinyarwanda, and conversational in Portuguese, Lingala, and Zulu. He is passionate about mentorship and advancing health equity, gender equality, and locally driven leadership in global health.
