Mobolaji Salawu (Senior Lecturer, College of Medicine, University of Ibadan) is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Epidemiology and Medical Statistics, Faculty of Public Health, College of Medicine, University of Ibadan. She is a Public Health Physician and an Epidemiologist with an MD degree and a Master of Public Health Degree in Field Epidemiology. Her research work focuses on infectious disease epidemiology, sexual and reproductive health, and the prevention of violence against women and girls. She has extensive experience in conducting research, and her academic role includes training and supervision of medical and postgraduate students, as well as continuing education of health professionals. She has over sixty publications in peer-reviewed journals. She is a Gender equity/GBV fellow at the Johns Hopkins Centre for Global Women’s Health and Gender Equity and a recipient of the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (RSTMH) NIHR Grant Award 2024. Mobolaji is a goal getter and loves connecting with people.
