Christianah Oyeleye (Executive Director, The Congenital Heart Disease Foundation of Nigeria) is a public health professional and nurse with over a decade of clinical experience dedicated to reducing the burden of cardiovascular diseases. Her work focuses on advancing cardiovascular care, particularly congenital heart disease, through clinical practice, advocacy, and systems-level impact. She is the Founder and Executive Director of The Congenital Heart Disease Foundation of Nigeria (CHDFNigeria), a nonprofit she established to combat the high mortality associated with congenital heart defects in Nigeria. Through this work, she leads advocacy, drives awareness, and promotes policy change to improve access to life-saving cardiac care across Sub-Saharan Africa. Christianah holds nursing and postgraduate qualifications from Ogun State College of Nursing, the University of Nigeria, the University of Derby and Birmingham City University. Fun fact: She enjoys sketching and loves exploring new cultures through travel.
