Nana Apenem Hanson-Hall, DrPH is an applied researcher who is passionate about promoting health and social justice around the globe in a holistic, equitable, and sustainable manner. She has seventeen years of experience designing, implementing, and evaluating development and health programs in several countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and North America. Her extensive background in the NGO sector as well as in academia grounds her in finding effective, evidence-based solutions that are realistic, contextual and amplify the voices of the most marginalized. She is driven to decolonize research and evaluation spaces and promote cross-cultural, grassroots solutions.
Nana obtained an MPH from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine and holds a DrPH in Health Education from Loma Linda University School of Public Health. She is a global citizen who has had the privilege of learning from and serving with people all around the world.
